Previously, Giuliani taunted Arizona party officials, posting on X that they were running out of time to serve him on the case.
Prosecutors have been trying for weeks to officially announce that he will appear in court on May 21.

It came after guests mingled on the patio and watched Giuliani tape an hour-long episode of his “America’s Mayor Live” show.
They sang “Happy Birthday” and presented Giuliani with a red, white and blue frosted cake.
“It was a wonderful evening honoring an American hero, Rudy Giuliani,” said Caroline Wren, a top GOP strategist who hosted the birthday party at her home in Palm Beach.

They include his former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, legal adviser Boris Epshteyn and former campaign aide Mike Roman.
Trump himself is not named in the indictment, but he is believed to be “Unindicted Coconspirator 1.”
“In Arizona and the United States, the people elected Joseph Biden as President on November 3, 2020,” the complaint reads.
“Unwilling to accept this fact, defendants and unindicted co-conspirators plotted to prevent the lawful transfer of the presidency in order to keep unindicted co-conspirator 1 in office, against the will of Arizona voters.”
