One man was thrilled to experience a “magical” transformation by a mystical winged creature fluttering about his garden.
Lahiru, an animal lover, was walking around when he noticed a burst of bright pink and yellow in the grass.
The animal lover crouched down and found a furry Rosy Maple Moth busy stuffing its wings.
Rosy Maple Moths are typically native to North America and are known for their unique coloring and unusual coat of fur on their bodies.
The tiny creature followed Lahiru around his garden for a while before finally unfolding its large, curved wings and taking flight.

Thousands have called the tiny insect the “cutest creature ever” and were shocked by its metamorphosis.
“I got to witness what I loved,” Lahiru shared in a popular Facebook group.
“I saw this little one stuff his wings. What started as a thing with little wings that kept following me turned into a beautiful creature,” he added.
He shared several photos of the moth that have left many entranced by the tiny creature’s journey.
“We have them where I live,” said one mother. “My kids always called them cotton candy moths.”
‘Bewildered. How wonderful to witness – such a beautiful moth!’ another wrote.
“So beautiful, I’ve never seen anything like it,” wrote a third.
Another said, “That’s so cute!” My son looked over my shoulder and asked mom is that a new Pokémon.’
