Robert Irwin confirms he will co-host I’m A Celebrity alongside Julia Morris ahead of Channel 10 Upfronts: ‘This just feels like it was meant to be’

Robert Irwin has announced that he will co-host I’m A Celebrity alongside Julia Morris.

The 19-year-old natural warrior will star alongside the comedian during the upcoming 2024 season of the reality show, replacing Dr. Chris Brown.

Speaking to the Herald Sun Ahead of Channel 10’s Upfronts, Robert couldn’t contain his excitement about the new role.

“This just feels like it was meant to be,” he told the publication.

It is not the first time that Robert appears in the jungle. In 2016, the photographer was a guest on the show along with his mother, Terri, and sister Bindi.

In August, Morris told Yahoo Lifestyle! that the show will proceed in a “completely different way” following the departure of her co-host Brown after nearly a decade of sharing the screen.

She explained that she was testing her “chemistry” with six potential candidates and that the selection will change the dynamic.

“I will have to put everything from the past behind me,” the 55-year-old told the publication at the time.

Brown, 45, left Channel 10 for more on-screen opportunities at rival Seven.

He first joined Ten in 2008 to present Bondi Vet, before becoming a part-time panelist on The Project and also co-presenting I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Living Room, which was canceled last year.
