Rihanna playfully trolled her fans while in New York City on Thursday as they continued to beg for “new music” from the star.
The nine-time Grammy winner, 36, jumped out of the backseat of a black SUV wearing a blue T-shirt that said “retired.”
The front read in white, yellow and red letters ‘I’m retired, this is as dressed as I can get’.
Rihanna hasn’t released an album since 2016’s Anti and has instead shifted her focus to building her billion-dollar beauty empire.
She frustrated fans earlier this week by announcing she will soon be launching her own hairline, as one tweeted: “You’re releasing everything but the album!”

The nine-time Grammy winner, 36, jumped out of the backseat of a black SUV wearing a blue T-shirt that said “retired.”
And Thursday’s T-shirt choice seemed to be her way of responding to the online outrage.
She paired it with a navy blue mermaid-style skirt, red Puma sneakers and a bright green Bottega Veneta bag.
The mother of two wore Y2K-inspired sunglasses with blue-tinted lenses and her golden blonde hair was worn in braids.
Rihanna was decked out in statement gold choker necklaces and she had a sparkling statement ring on her left hand.
As for makeup, the billionaire sported a glossy lip, a dewy complexion, and a rosy blush.
She was dropped off outside a building in New York by her chauffeured vehicle.

It’s time to play and become stronger through the style.”
After Fenty Skin and Fenty Fragrance, Fenty Hair is the newest subsidiary of her seven-year-old company Fenty Beauty.
