Ric Flair’s grieving ex-wife forced to deny she upset WWE icon after taking ‘millions’ as she mourns late son

Ric Flair’s grieving ex-wife has denied being the woman the WWE legend claims abandoned him after taking “millions” and begged trolls to stop targeting her as she continues to grieve for her deceased son.

Flair, one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time, admitted in an emotional Instagram post on Thursday that he has been left “disappointed” in an unnamed woman he “sacrificed millions” to support.

“I’ve laughed, cried and thought, and I’m so disappointed in one person,” the 75-year-old wrote. ‘That let me down and I gave my life for that. I mean literally: millions sacrificed to support her. Merry Christmas to everyone! Thanks Jimmy V for giving me the inspiration!’

Just three months after announcing their divorce, many were quick to speculate that Flair was referring to ex-wife Wendy, 64, who is currently mourning the loss of her son Sebastian.

Sebastian died by suicide in October at the age of 24 after being discovered in Georgia with a gunshot wound TMZ Sports.

And after being the target of cruel messages from trolls who thought Flair’s post was about her, Wendy herself took to Instagram to deny it, while insisting she was still grieving.

Three months after their divorce, many were quick to speculate that it was his ex-wife Wendy (left), who is currently mourning the death of her son Sebastian (left)

“This is a message to all the @ricflairnatureboy fans who think he wrote that message about me yesterday. Please stop sending me mean messages,” she wrote alongside a photo of her leaning on Sebastian’s coffin during his funeral. ‘That message was about a family member, not me!

“I’m grieving the loss of my son and trying to celebrate his life in a positive way this holiday season – I have no room in my life or heart for this kind of drama or hatred.

“I can’t stand the pain anymore this season.”

Flair also came out and denied referring to his ex-wife in another post on Instagram; albeit bizarrely after he ranted about people assuming he was talking about a woman, despite using the term “her” in his original post.

“It looks like there’s some connection. This is not about Wendy or anyone in my family! This is about a man who owes me money from a business deal twenty years ago. I literally mean a two million dollar business deal. I think about it every day,” he wrote.

‘People always assume that for me it has something to do with a woman. In this case that is absolutely not the case.

‘I would drop his name, but then I would file a lawsuit again. I already lost one to him because I couldn’t afford to fight the insurance company!’

Ric and Wendy, a retired All-American professional tennis player, previously split in 2022, only to reconcile a few months later.

Flair also took to social media again to tell his fans that he was not referring to his ex-wife

The WWE icon and Wendy (pictured with Sebastian) were together for ten years before splitting

Wendy was Ric’s fifth wife after his previous marriages to Leslie Goodman, Elizabeth Harrell, Tiffany VanDemark and Jaqueline Beems.

They first met almost 40 years ago when they both worked for World Championship Wrestling. Wendy even appeared alongside Ric in wrestling shows as the character Fifi – a French maid who worked as his personal valet.

Following Flair’s divorce from Beems in 2014, the pair began dating before marrying four years later.

Ric has four children, two from his relationship with Goodman and an equal number from his time with Harrell.
