REVEALED: NY Times best dressed at White House Correspondents’ Dinner… and a DailyMail.com favorite tops the list

  • The White House Correspondents Association Dinner is like DC’s Oscars,
  • Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery, a columnist for DailyMail.com, was praised by the NYT
  • Kennedy started working for DailyMail.com last July and wrote her popular column

It may be known as the “nerd gala,” but the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner may be the closest Washington DC gets to the Oscars — with plenty of beautiful dresses on display along the red carpet.

Just days ahead of the glitzy Met Gala in New York City, the dinner sees a mix of media, political and Hollywood figures fill the guest list.

DailyMail.com columnist Lisa ‘Kennedy’ Montgomery was chosen by the New York Times for being one of the best dressed in a colorful tartan number.

It’s no wonder it caught the newspaper’s attention when Kennedy wore her signature thick-rimmed glasses and some Chanel jewelry – a necklace and a chunky bracelet.

Kennedy struck a few cheeky poses for waiting photographers before walking into the enormous ballroom of the Washington Hilton.

Kennedy started writing her popular columns for DailyMail.com last July, but she was already well established before joining the world’s most popular news website.
