The son of a deceased bike boss named ‘The King’ has been charged with the one-punch death of a father of two outside a restaurant.

Michael Hayes, 39, died Thursday after reportedly hitting outside the Destino Wine and Cocktail Bar in Sanctuary Cove, in the Gold Coast, last Saturday night.

He had been on a ventilator but succumbed to his injuries at Gold Coast University Hospital.

Alex Rasic, 24, was arrested Thursday and charged with illegal strike resulting in death.

Rasic failed to appear at Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to appear again at Southport Magistrates Court on June 7. Gold Coast Bulletin reported.

The 24-year-old is the son of the late Simon Rasic who died of natural causes in 2014 at the age of 43.

Known as ‘The King’, Simon was the national sergeant-of-arms of the rebel outlaw biker gang, once the largest in Australia with over 2,000 members.

His father and Alex’s grandfather is former Socceroo coach Rale Rasic.

Alex was pictured carrying his father’s coffin at his funeral, wearing expensive designer sunglasses and wearing a diamond-encrusted watch on his wrist.

He’s been keeping a low profile on social media lately, but photos from just a few years ago show him living a life of luxury.

In one shot he posed in front of a yellow supercar, while in another he relaxes with friends on an extravagant boat trip in Sydney Harbour.

During a trip to Perth, photos show him sipping drinks with friends in a spa hotel room, while other snaps show Alex and his friends holding up wads of cash.

In 2016, Alex shared a heartfelt tribute to his late father.

“His presence is always there… I can still see him riding his dirt bike in the green land of Cecil Park! Riding his rodeo with a huge smile on his face! The day he put dreadlocks in his hair while wearing an earth brown poncho!’ He wrote.

“How could I ever forget his precious gifts, an old sword together with an old black biker jacket. The smell of his JAZZ fragrance that he always wore! And above all, he loved with heart on his tongue! He will never be forgotten. He’s as free as a bird.’
