She tried long extensions to match her gray locks and explained that it was for a new role.

“If only it were real (when God handed her out, I was filling up with gas in the back of the bus),” she wrote in her caption.

It comes after the actress wrote a powerful post about aging and “embracing the real.”

The Gold Logie winner shared her post along with a makeup-free selfie on Instagram, showing off her clear complexion after undergoing a facial.

In her post, Rebecca reminded her followers that many of the images they see online have been Photoshopped or edited in some way.

She shared one version of a selfie edited with a filter and another completely untouched to make her point.

“Remember that we ALL grow old and eventually leave this earthly place, so we should not spend our time on things that bring joy and happiness,” she wrote.

She did admit that she had just had her eyelashes and eyebrows tinted.

“I think we should all remember that most of the stuff posted here is filtered and Photoshopped,” Rebecca began in her long post.

“Let’s keep embracing the real. (PS this is not a post to stop people from doing whatever they want with their face and body – whether you want to lose weight, gain weight, get your eyes done, Botox, facelift, whatever. It’s your choice),’ said they.

“But remember that we ALL grow old and eventually leave this earthly place, so shouldn’t we spend our time doing things that bring joy and happiness?”

‘Make your dreams come true and live every moment for those of us who don’t have that freedom. You get one life.’

In 2015, after turning 50, Rebecca said she had never felt so comfortable in her own skin since hitting the milestone birthday.

“I finally feel satisfied,” Rebecca said then. “I’ve come a lot more at peace with myself, that feeling can’t buy any amount of money.”

“I used to worry about what people thought would make me crippled because I was the ultimate people pleaser.

“I don’t think I care about anything now that I’m over 50.”

While she’s at peace with getting older, Rebecca admitted at the time that there’s one body part that still bothers her.

“I keep looking at my neck and thinking, ‘Someday I’m going to do something about that!’ she said with a laugh.

But overall, Rebecca said she was comfortable with the natural changes happening to her body and honest about the steps she was willing to take to make herself look beautiful.

“I’m aware that I’m getting older and that’s okay,” the Gold Logie winner told the Daily Mail Australia at the time.

“I don’t want to pretend I’m not 50 — because I am.”
