The reality TV star, who has been on the show since its eighth season, took to Instagram to share the tragic news with her 782,000 followers.
Margaret’s message lovingly continued: ‘Always ready to kiss, cuddle, play and brighten your darkest day.
“She loved everyone (except landscapers) and everyone loved her.
‘A piece of me died with her. She was a rescue, but in reality she saved us.”
The TV personality had previously described Bella as her “favourite family member” and regularly shared updates about their life together.
She had previously expressed concerns about the pup’s health, saying: ‘If you know anything about me, I’m always nervous that she’s not feeling well because she’s had hip and joint problems for years.
‘Yorkies are very sensitive to it.
“And she’s 12 and she’s a rescuer, so I’ve always had a challenge.”
And dozens of Margaret’s fans flocked to the comments section to offer their condolences.

One wrote: ‘This breaks my heart. I’m so sorry to see this. I’m praying for you and your family.’
Another added: ‘I’m very sorry. Sending giant hugs. She was such a sweet baby.”
Someone else commented: “We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Bella.
‘Pets are truly family and losing them is incredibly difficult. May you all find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared together.”
And a fourth person said: ‘The unconditional love they bring into our lives is indescribable and that feeling is euphoric. So when we lose our pet, the pain can be even more overwhelming.
‘But know that she is not gone. Her memory is a blessing. That will help you when you need that euphoria of unconditional love.’

The pet’s death comes as a devastating blow to the star, who earlier this week also told TV personality Rachel Fuda about her husband Joe Benigno’s recent visit to the doctor.
During episode eight of the show’s final season, which aired on June 23, Margaret revealed that she and her husband, who celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary this month, are waiting for tests to come back.
She shared, “I’m so exhausted because Joe had routine blood work, and we just got a call from the doctor and they said, ‘Joe, your PSA [Prostate-Specific Antigen] jumped high.
‘I panicked because men his age can get prostate cancer very easily.
‘We immediately ran to the urologist. They made him do all the tests.
‘He had to be examined. We’ll get the results this week.’
