Rally bad place to put a portable toilet: Watch the moment a racing car driver is flush out of luck in freak crash

  • Driver Dafydd Evans, from West Wales, went sideways while speeding over the hill
  • The red, black and white Ford shoots into a few toilets just before a bend

This is when a driver breaks down as he barrels down a hill and crashes into a row of portable toilets.

The red, black and white painted Ford jumps over the top of the hill during a rally at the Epynt Military Ranges in the Brecon Beacons.

The car then goes sideways as the driver struggles to maintain control, before crashing into a pair of green toilets just before a bend.

And as it makes contact, you watch a spool of white toilet roll explode as it hits the ground – and unravels against the gorse.

Driver Dafydd Evans, from Aberaeron, West Wales, breathed a sigh of relief as he confirmed no one was ‘wiping their a**e’ at the time – and everyone involved walked away unscathed.

The 26-year-old, who works for a car parts supplier, was not at liberty to speak to MailOnline as he is currently at another rally – just three days after his crash.

But he said he was not upset by the accident, adding “we survived.”

He continued on social media: ‘Thank you everyone for their messages and concern last night and today, it means a lot. A ‘s**t’ day, you might say.

‘A rally to forget on the ranges as we left the road at high speed on the SS6. It could have been a lot worse, looking back at the videos, but we’re doing fine, which is the most important thing, and the car is repairable.

‘Enjoyed what we did and the times were good considering Stefan’s lack of seat time in the car and Epynt experience compared to the top 5. We’ll be back!

“For anyone wondering, no one was wiping their ass in the portaloos!”

The ‘no frills’ racing event at the Epynt Military Ranges was organized by the Forresters Car Club and Forest of Dean Motor Club and consisted of 10 short competitive stages.

The military backdrop was requisitioned for military use in 1939, with the Pitstop Garage Pengam Dixies Challenge Rally receiving more than 130 entries this year.

Upon discovering that the driver was doing well, other racing enthusiasts took to social media to tease the hapless motorists.

One, Gaz Nash, laughed: ‘Brings a whole new meaning to ‘oh c**p’!’

Another, Paul, joked: ‘The only ones there fucking themselves were the driver and the navigator!’

A third said: ‘When shit hits the fan.’

And a fellow competitor – Bob Gibbons – joked: ‘I’m very saddened by your incident because you said the car can be repaired. We’ll see you both soon.”
