Radio host Mick Molloy, 56, reveals he is done having children and is having a vasectomy after having twins: ‘My God, no more’
Mick Molloy underwent a vasectomy after deciding he no longer wants to have any more children.
The 56-year-old radio host revealed on Triple M’s Mick and MG in the Morning show on Thursday that he underwent the procedure after his stint on the breakfast show.
Molloy, who is the father of twins, initially joked that he was heading to the hospital to undergo a ‘penis reduction’.
“It just gets out of hand, it’s unwieldy, it’s big, it’s not comfortable,” Molloy began.
‘Okay, no, that’s not all. I’m going to go to the hospital today, and I apologize for what’s happening during the show, but it’s a big one, guys and gals. I’m sorry to say, it’s the snip.
The comedian went on to explain why and how his decision came to light.
I have fought this all my life. I’ve tried to think, “no, no, you can’t, you owe it to the world to produce as many little Mickey’s as possible.” But something has changed lately, ”he continued.
“I see my two 10-year-old twins running and I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ No more. This has to stop here. I need to stop it.

Molloy is not the only Australian radio personality to have had a vasectomy. Dave Hughes received the snip in 2015 after welcoming three children with his wife, Holly.
It comes after Molloy recounted how he was caught on camera by paparazzi just once during his career.

The father-of-two told his listeners that “the only time I’ve ever been made to mush” was when I was eating a burrito on Bondi Beach.
‘It was an invasion of my privacy!’ Molloy joked.

He said the ‘saddest part’ of the story was when a contact at a Sydney newspaper called him to say the photos were being ‘bought’.
However, no media outlet was interested in buying the photos.
Molloy explained that he wanted to put them on his television show.
“It was $70, so I had to buy my own picture of me having my picture taken so I could put it on TV and say ‘look at this invasion of my privacy’.”
