Two Korean women visiting Sydney were targeted by racist teenagers as they walked back to their hotel in the early hours of the morning.
Footage of the disturbing attack was uploaded to Instagram this week with a caption explaining that the Korean women from Melbourne, aged 23 and 32, were walking past City Hall on Saturday evening when they came across the teenage girls.
“(They) passed a group of young teenagers making racist comments and threats towards them,” the caption read.
“The teens then turned from their direction of travel and began following the two Korean girls, taking one of them with them to begin recording in self-defense.”
Footage of the disturbing attack was shared online with police, confirming they are aware and are looking for two teenage girls involved
The footage shows a teenager grabbing the youngest of the Korean women and trying to throw her to the ground.
The victim stumbles but manages to get back on her feet and the pair struggle before being thrown back to the ground.
The teenager then punches and kicks the woman repeatedly, while the attacker’s friend, the second teenager, can be heard in the background cheering her on and saying ‘bash the b***h’.
