After being received by the Government Commissioner, Alida Francis, the trio met with representatives of the island authorities.
The walk through the historic center of Oranjestad will be followed by a debate on the future of the island, led by young people.
The royals will then have lunch with the residents and enjoy some time on Zeelandia beach, ready to hear about local nature management.
Next on the program is a visit to the community garden, where the group will have the chance to talk with the island’s farmers.
Next, a basketball game with some schoolchildren will be followed by a cultural event at Fort Oranje, to conclude their visit to the island.
Sint Eustatius is the royal family’s fifth stop on their two-week tour of the Dutch Caribbean, a trip designed to introduce Princess Catharina-Amalia to the region.
They will conclude the trip with a full day of Samba activities tomorrow.
