Quakers Hill and Narromine stabbings: Two brutal attacks just 30 minutes apart sees man 28, and teen, 16, both die from their injuries
Two young men in New South Wales died overnight after separate stabbing attacks.
Police are investigating the death of a man found with stab wounds in a Sydney residential area, as well as the stabbing death of a teenager in the state’s west.
The attacks follow two other shocking stabbing attacks that have rocked Sydney in recent weeks at Westfield Bondi Junction and a church in Wakeley.
On Friday evening it involved a 28-year-old man was found in a critical condition on Narcissus Avenue in Quakers Hill in Sydney’s northwest about 8:30 p.m.
He had suffered stab wounds to his chest and paramedics tried to save him, but he died on the way to hospital.
Detectives investigating the incident have asked anyone with CCTV footage, dashcam or information about what happened to contact them.
A crime scene has been set up in the residential street.
Meanwhile, a teenage boy died after a stabbing in the state’s west.
Emergency services were called to a house on Nymagee Street, Narromine, at 9pm on Friday after reports of a stabbing.
Officers found a 16-year-old boy at the scene with stab wounds in his neck.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Dubbo Airport where he died.
After an investigation, the police arrested a 26-year-old man in a nearby home.
Police have cordoned off a crime scene and detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.
