A man has died after a two-car collision on Sydney’s Princes Highway near Sylvania, which left the main road closed in both directions.
A Ford Falcon and a Volkswagen van collided around 1:30 p.m. The Ford driver, in his 60s, died at the scene.
The Volkswagen driver, a man in his thirties, suffered serious leg injuries. He was treated by paramedics and taken to St George’s Hospital.

A crime scene has been established. The Prince Highway was closed in both directions between Box Rd and Crystal St.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use Port Hacking Rd and the Boulevarde instead.
