Prince William shares sweet moment with Princess Eugenie, playfully teasing her during a day out at Royal Ascot

Prince William shared a sweet moment with his cousin Princess Eugenie as the two attended Royal Ascot in Berkshire earlier today.

The Prince of Wales, 41, was spotted gently teasing his younger cousin and lightly teasing her choice of headgear.

Eugenie, whose parents are Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew opted for a pink ensemble for her day at the races.

The 34-year-old paired her dress with a baby pink hat with a long tassel fell almost up to her collar.

To complete the ensemble, she wore light makeup, pairing glowing peach cheeks with full lashes and glossy lips.

In a cheeky show of affection, William playfully tapped the brush as it fell in front of his cousin’s smiling face.

Royal Ascot, a five-day horse racing event held annually at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, is a major event on the social calendar.

And it is popular with many royals, especially the late Queen Elizabeth II, who loved the race so much that after her death, some thought The Firm’s association with it might end.

However, King Charles has attended both Royal Ascots during his reign so far.

Prince William not only spent his day teasing his cousins, he also proved his good nature and kind heart after helping his mother-in-law out of a sticky situation.

Carole Middleton made her first public appearance following her daughter’s cancer diagnosis when she had the misfortune of landing on her heel in the grass.

William offered her his hand to take after the heel of her right shoe got stuck in the turf.

The pair laughed about the shoe accident as they walked away together and joined other guests.

Carole Middleton lovingly put her arm around Eugenie, who wore her hair up, revealing her unusual tattoo

At one point, Eugenie was spotted catching up with Carole, who put her arm lovingly around the princess as they chatted.

With her locks pulled back, the princess’ tattoo, a circle just behind her ear, was visible.

The ink was first spotted when she attended the Platinum Jubilee National Service.

Although Eugenie has never revealed the meaning behind her tattoo, some believe that circles may represent the cycle of life and death, or symbolize perfection, wholeness and totality.
