Royal correspondent Camilla Tominey has spoken out after Prince Harry criticized her in his controversial new memoir, Spare.

“We always used to have a good working relationship, but Harry doesn’t seem to take kindly to journalists who write nothing but praise,” Tominey said.

He also criticized his aim to “bring down his family and the institution” and claimed that it was not working in the UK.

“His popularity is plummeting in the UK… The book is a real mixed bag because there are some moving pages about the loss of his mother and you can completely sympathize with him.”

“We always used to have a pretty good working relationship, but Harry doesn’t seem to take kindly to journalists who write nothing but pure praise,” Tominey said.

“But then it goes from those tender moments to discussions about whether or not he had a frostbite on his genitals and how he lost his virginity… it’s [to much information].’

In October 2018, it was reported that a dispute over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress had left Kate Middleton in tears.

Tominey wrote at the time that she had “spoke to two separate sources who claim Kate was left in tears after a bridesmaids gown fit for Princess Charlotte.”

An anonymous friend claimed that Kate wanted to stick to “protocol”, with the bridesmaids, including Charlotte, then three, wearing stockings, but Harry’s wife Meghan disagreed.

Harry criticized Tominey’s reporting in his new book, writing: “Days later came the coup de grace: from a royal correspondent, a sci-fi fantasy depicting the ‘growing coldness’ between Kate and Meg, claiming that according to “two sources”, Meg had made Kate cry over bridesmaid dresses.

This particular royal correspondent had always made me sick. He was always wrong about things.
