Pregnant Jessie J shares baby scan while gushing over unborn son and boyfriend on Mother’s Day

Pregnant Jessie J shared a baby scan as she gushed about her unborn child while taking to Instagram on Mother’s Day.

The singer, 34, made the rare move of opening up about her boyfriend, basketball player Chanan Safir Colman, 39, while also praising him.

She also posted a video of herself during a recent concert at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, where she flaunted her growing bulge in a sheer black bodysuit.

The Price Tag singer showed off her dark lingerie through the figure-hugging number, which flaunted diamonds scattered over the top.

The beauty added a coordinating long jacket over the top of the ensemble as she performed her hits for fans.

She wrote in her caption: ‘You. Thanks for coming to me. Thank you for trusting me that my body can keep you safe.

‘Thank you for giving me the most special experience yet and the most important role I will play in my entire life.

‘I love you so much it amazes me this is real. I am yours forever, my son. I can not wait to meet you. And see this smile in real life.

‘I love your dad so much you wouldn’t be on the road without him. He is the most patient, calm and handsome man. You will LOVE him when you meet him.

“I feel so excited because every Mother’s Day before this one has been so different. I know the pain that so many people feel today and I carry you in my heart.’

Another photo on her post read: “I love you and I want to be the best version of me for you.”

Jessie recently revealed that she is struggling to keep her fluid levels up after coming down with the flu while heavily pregnant.

The singer had been affected by the highly infectious cold virus in recent weeks, resulting in a series of unfortunate symptoms.

On Instagram, Jessie admitted that she constantly needs to use the bathroom as a result of the illness, a problem that has drastically affected her ability to maintain high fluid levels.

Posting on Wednesday, she wrote: ‘I can sleep on the toilet right now too. Keeping your fluids up while sick and pregnant is a match made in “we have more toilet paper” heaven.

The Price Tag singer recently revealed that she is expecting a baby and has filmed an upcoming documentary that will chronicle her return to music when she becomes a mother.

A source told the sunday mirror: ‘Jessie is determined not to let her pregnancy stop her from relaunching her career.

“The documentary will see Jessie discuss everything from pregnancy, miscarriage, health issues, heartbreak and love life to her loss of public favor and planned return.”

Jessie has stepped back from the spotlight in recent years amid a series of flops and failing health, though on Monday she played 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London with a TV crew in tow.

He has been working on a new album and a world tour is scheduled to follow in 2024.

The star revealed she was pregnant just 13 months after suffering a devastating miscarriage and admitted her mind “hasn’t fully processed” the happy news.

She wrote on her Instagram Story: ‘As I lie here (2am) I can’t sleep.

Thinking of today and the overwhelming amount of love and support I’m feeling. I can’t help but think of all the women and men still struggling with loss and infertility.

“It feels so strange to be on this side after being told I’d never get pregnant, the miscarriage and then being pregnant and how quickly it’s all happening.”

“My mind hasn’t fully processed that it’s actually happening some days, which is why I kept it quiet for so long.”

“The anxiety at first was overwhelming and I felt like I had my eyes closed hoping everything would continue to go well. That at times I still have a lot as I allow myself to feel the joy and celebration of this experience.

‘I don’t even know what my point is tbh. (sic)’
