Posh preparations for Victoria Beckham’s big day! Hedgerow trimmer is spotted neatening the road to their Cotswolds pad ahead of her 50th birthday celebrations

Victoria Beckham is sparing no expense in the run-up to her 50th birthday after hedge trimmers were spotted near her lavish Cotswolds pad on Tuesday.

The fashion designer, who turned 50 on Wednesday, will celebrate the occasion with a four-day extravaganza along with her family and close friends.

Preparations for their country retreat were in full swing this week as they turned to the hedge trimmer to clear the road near their house.

It looks like everything will look perfect for the arrival of her guests, in what promises to be a raucous affair, with all her children flying in for the event.

According to the Mirrorguests received the tickets to the festivities, but only a few of her Spice Girls bandmates can attend.

A source said: ‘David and Victoria have said they are planning a party to remember, but it now appears it will be four nights to remember for their relatives.

‘The current plan is that there will be one main party, but their family and close friends will be invited to stay all four days.

‘Victoria was keen to reunite with the Spice Girls for one performance during the festivities and really pushed for this to happen. But unfortunately a performance is now out of the question, and she will instead meet with the girls separately later this month.

Their Oxfordshire pad has played host to many big parties over the years, most recently their son Brooklyn’s lavish ‘£100,000’ 21st birthday party.

The expensive party included an exclusive performance by rapper Stormzy and monogrammed drinks.

Victoria is celebrating the big day itself with family – husband David, and the couple’s four children, Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12 in the Cotswolds.

According to the Sunthe company will then move to an exclusive private members restaurant in London, where she will be joined by a close group of 40 friends.

Apparently the dress code will be ‘smart casual’ and Victoria will be wearing one of her own autumn/winter designs that evening.

Guests will enjoy champagne, tequila and a selection of fine wines, including her favorite Chateau Mouton Rothschild, which costs £3,000 a bottle.

A source said: ‘For someone as starry and well-connected as Victoria Beckham, you might expect a suitably extravagant 50th birthday party.

‘She has two bashes, one on the day, a small intimate private dinner with family and then a sit-down dinner with about 40 guests.’

After the meal, Victoria is reportedly presented with a huge cake and David plans to make a speech.

The A-list guest list is said to include Gordon and Tana Ramsay, Eva Longoria, Emma Bunton, Mel C and J-Lo’s singer ex Marc Anthony.

Other notable names include David’s best friend Dave Gardner, Victoria’s hairdresser Ken Paves and personal trainer Bobby Rich.

Dinner will be catered by an Italian chef, who will likely serve Victoria’s favorite, fish and steamed vegetables.
