Jon Bon Jovi, 62, hints he’s been with 100 women – after confessing he wasn’t always a ‘saint’ in marriage to Dorothea Hurley: ‘I got away with murder’

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has had his fair share of fights.

The rocker, 62, suggested he had been with 100 women in his life as he spoke on television ABC special, Michael Strahan x Jon Bon Jovi: Halfway.

Reflecting on his marriage to wife Dorothea Hurley and tying the knot with her after reaching superstar status, Jon admitted he ‘got away with murder’.

“It had to be tough for a relationship,” Michael said. “You’re young,” he continued, adding that the Livin’ On A Prayer singer was considered “a sex symbol.”

“I got away with murder,” replied Jon – who recently admitted he wasn’t always a “saint” in his 35-year marriage. ‘I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star. I’m not a saint. I’m not saying there weren’t 100 girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good!

“But what if you think I’m ever going to jeopardize everything because I believe the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do. What kind of excesses does a man need to fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it.’

It comes after Jon admitted he wasn’t always “a saint” during his 35-year marriage to wife Dorothea, who he first met in high school in 1980.

While speaking about his long-term love, the rocker praised her “tolerance” of his demanding touring schedule.

“These are all wonderful rock star clichés,” he said The independent. “The point is never to lie about being a saint, but not being foolish enough to do so.” [mess] also improve family life.’

Moreover, he attributed their long union to a “society of mutual admiration, and the happiness of having grown up together.”

Four days after the interview, Dorothea was absent from a screening of her husband’s documentary series Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story last week.

But the rocker’s rep clarified that she couldn’t attend because she was infected with COVID. “As of this morning, she is feeling well and has recovered,” his representative said Page six on Saturday.

Previously, Jon sang in his 1993 song, Bed of Roses, about regrets about his past adventures on the road.

In 2007, he explained that his career had caused him to miss “a lot of birthdays and school plays.”

“I’ve been in one of the biggest rock bands in the world for 25 years, and I’m not a saint, and I haven’t been a saint,” he told Best Life magazine at the time. “It’s not like Dorothea came in halfway through the movie and didn’t know who she was getting.”

He further revealed that despite his busy work life, he has always been devoted to his wife, whom he married at Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas in 1989, and their children.

“I don’t look at this week’s hot star and think about trading in or out,” he said. “I don’t have a mistress on the side or another family on the other side of town. You’ll never read that story about me. I have no respect for that whole lifestyle.”

The Grammy winner previously said People that he was “immediately attracted” to his wife “the moment” he saw her.

“And that never changed – 40 years ago,” he said in 2020.

‘Growing up together and growing together. And we really like each other. We want to hang out,” he told the outlet.

The couple first met in 1980 when they attended Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey, where the Runaway singer confessed that she let him “cheat on her in history.”

‘I always said I was also good at seeing potential. I have a gift,” Dorothea joked. ‘He is cute. I’m superficial. I admit!’

Jon added: ‘We enjoy each other and we’ve never fallen for the trappings of what celebrities can do.

“We have witnessed this happening over the years to people close to us and people we knew from afar,” he concluded. ‘It’s just what I do, it’s not who I am. I write songs. I happen to be very good at executing them. That is it.’

During his latest interview, the rock star also raved about his son Jake’s engagement to 20-year-old Millie Bobby Brown.

Although he wasn’t initially “aware” of his future daughter-in-law’s work on Stranger Things, which made her famous at the age of 12, he noted that he admires “her work ethic.”

‘Millie is a movie star. We just went to the premiere of Damsel with her, and Jake has now released his first film. I’m happy for him,” said the father of four.

Brown and Jake got engaged in April 2023 after two years of dating.

“They’re two young people pursuing a dream together, so we support that, because our hope for them — and Millie’s parents’ hope for them, because Bob and Kelly Brown also met when they were very young — is that the children will grow up together,” the legendary musician said of the duo.

He continued: ‘Everything after that is out of our control as parents, but they are good children. They’ll find out.’

Although Brown previously said Jon would not perform at her wedding, he teased that he would most likely take the stage at some point.

“You know, I really doubt her word,” he mused. ‘We will see! It depends on how much wine I have before we get to the point where she sticks the microphone in my face.”
