Pip Edwards is escorted out of restaurant after boozy five-hour lunch to celebrate her 43rd birthday

Pip Edwards appeared to have enjoyed her birthday party after spending a boozy long lunch at Sydney’s Bondi Icebergs restaurant on Thursday.

The co-founder of PE Nation turned 43 on Wednesday and invited several friends to a five-hour feast at Bondi beach restaurant.

Pip looked stunning in a sparkly, sheer gold mesh dress from Common Hours, valued at $860.

Under the fitted garment she wore skimpy black underwear, a lace bralette and black heels.

But as she left the venue, the socialite grabbed a restaurant worker’s arm as she walked toward a waiting vehicle.

Guests included model agent Jaz Daly, who wore a denim corset top and white pants, while her hair was neatly tied back in a ponytail.

As Pip and her fellow friends left the venue, she clung to the biceps of an Icebergs waiter who escorted her out of the venue and into her Uber.

She did so while covering up in an oversized gray blazer, her freshly cut blonde locks tousled.

An onlooker told Daily Mail Australia that the fashion entrepreneur appeared to have had a great day out.

“About halfway through her long lunch, Pip requested that the restaurant blinds be closed when she saw a photographer outside,” they recalled.

Hours later, just after 7pm on her departure, Pip seemed to have had a merry afternoon — looking rosy on the cheeks and smiling as she held the arm of one of the Icebergs waiters as she made her way to her Uber .

“She looked very happy after hours of partying.”

It comes after Pip said her main focus was taking care of herself after revealing her private health struggles in March.

Speaking to Stellar magazine, she said her life was turned upside down nearly three years ago after she was diagnosed with perimenopause.

Menopause is the natural time in a woman’s life when she has gone 12 months without a period.

The term perimenopause refers to the transition phase to menopause and can be accompanied by symptoms such as irregular menstrual cycles, hot flashes, reduced fertility and sleeping problems.

Most Australian women enter perimenopause in their mid-40s and then start between the ages of 45 and 60.

Pip, who developed symptoms in her late 30s, recalled being surprised by a severe hot flash while attending her 16-year-old son Justice’s basketball game.

“I had to get myself out and was literally in a frenzy to take my clothes off. I thought: this is not right!’ she said, adding that she was so overwhelmed she was reduced to “tears.”

Pip said she “didn’t notice” her symptoms before that because she was too focused on maintaining her fitness, growing her business and raising her only child Justice, who she shares with ex Dan Single.

Pip said she is now completely focused on her health and doesn’t care about recent scandals, including confronting her ex Michael Clarke in Noosa.

When asked if Michael had apologized for dragging her into the saga, Pip simply said it wasn’t “relevant.”

She also said the “hardest thing” about the fallout was dealing with her health battle behind closed doors.
