Pink is setting the record straight about her feud with Christina Aguilera, and in particular, an incident during the making of her 2001 music video for Lady Marmalade that reportedly nearly ended in beatings.

during a interview with chris wallace for his CNN Who’s Talking show, the host brought up the new version of the hit song from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, for which the two pop stars teamed up with Lil’ Kim and Mýa, and how Xtina’ wanted to have a fight with you’ behind the scenes.

“She did it,” Pink (née Alecia Beth Moore), 43, said of the 42-year-old Christina, wanting to shoot, as she nodded.

According to the Stupid Girls star, Aguilera got so upset that she thought she was going to stop filming the video.

There was talk of Pink being upset that the writer of the hit song, her former collaborator Linda Perry, gave it to Xtina instead of her, even after she pushed hard for it.

“Linda tells you, ‘I don’t hear you on that and I gave the song to Christina Aguilera. It was her biggest hit,” Stern told Pink, who nodded that that’s how it happened.

But while she admitted to having “a complicated relationship with Perry,” Pink denied having any problem with Xtina over the situation, going on to reveal, “That song ended up where it was supposed to be.” Christina sounded amazing on that song.

A source close to Aguilera said TMZhe has no issues with Pink and enjoyed their professional time together.

The 2001 version of Lady Marmalade for the Moulin Rouge! The soundtrack, featuring all four pop stars on vocals, became a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks, and also topped the charts in the UK.

The song, written by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan, is famous for its repeating refrain of ‘Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?’ in French, which translates into Spanish as: ‘Do you want to sleep with me?’
