‘I’m not sure I’d be there without him’: Pete Davidson shares heartbreaking family news that his beloved dog Henry has passed away
Pete Davidson announced that his beloved dog has passed away in a new post shared by his close friend Dave Sirus.
The 29-year-old comedian said his dog Henry “got very sick very quickly” and died at the age of two, according to the fellow comedian and writer’s post.
In the “message from Pete,” the actor – who ran into his ex-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, at the 2023 Met Gala on Monday – also shared how Henry saved his life.
“Hi guys,” Davidson – who doesn’t have an Instagram social media account – had written. “I know today is Bupkis premiere day, but I want to use today to remember my dog Henry.”
Earlier on Thursday, his action comedy television series Bupkis premiered on Peacock.

He shared several images of Henry in the carousel post with himself and his sister Casey.
“Yesterday we lost an important member of the Davidson family,” the Bodies Bodies Bodies star had shared. ‘Henry was only 2 years old but unfortunately became very ill very quickly.
“My mom, sister and I had Henry at the beginning of the pandemic and he saved our lives,” he shared in the sentimental post. “I’m not sure I’d be here without him.”
The New York native continued, “He was the happiest and sweetest dog ever. He always got excited when he saw me and peed everywhere.’
In the post, the former Saturday Night Live cast member revealed that he never watches his work with anyone except Henry.
“When I was working at SNL, my mom used to send me videos of him looking, smiling and making noises when I came on screen,” he said.
“I never really watch my stuff with anyone because I’m way too scared, but I didn’t mind watching with Henry. He really was the best,” gushed Davidson.
“My mom, sister and I are heartbroken and will miss him forever,” he shared. ‘We love you Henry. Thank you for making our lives fuller and reminding me of what really matters.”
