Mandurah: Man captured on dashcam pulling machete out of pram to confront driver

A driver’s dashcam captured the shocking moment a man pulls a machete from a stroller containing a small child on a zebra crossing.

The disturbing video was shared after a motorist saw the man with the gun attempting to confront a motorist at the intersection of Pinjarra and Mandurah Roads in Mandurah, south of Perth, at around 12.40pm on Tuesday.

Footage showed a group of four men walking across the road with a pram near a zebra crossing.

A man stopped at the side of the road and bent over to remove a large knife from the bottom of the stroller.

While another man looked at the child inside the man, the armed man walked to a white car parked on the side of the road.

The parked vehicle drove away before the man could cause any damage, causing him to throw his hands in the air in frustration.

“Guns are illegal to carry, knives are not and can be bought anywhere. Scary!” the dashcam owner wrote online.

Western Australia Police have not yet received a report of the incident.
