Fans of Paul Mescal and Jodie Comer have begged the couple to date as they would be the ‘perfect couple’.

The actors drew a reaction from their devotees when they posed together at the Olivier Awards on Sunday night, after each winning a prestigious trophy.

Paul, 27, took home the Best Actor award for A Streetcar Named Desire, while Jodie, 30, was named Best Actress for Prima Facie.

After taking home an award each, the stars put on a very friendly display while smiling for photographers in the Royal Albert Hall winners’ room.

But after the images were posted online, fans took to Twitter because they were all saying the same thing, according to Mirror.

Winning his first Olivier Awards at the star-studded party, Irish actor Paul thanked his loving mother Dearbhla, who is undergoing cancer treatment, in his speech, before adding: “I hope you get better.”

Addressing the diagnosis herself on social media, her mother previously told followers she was beginning to “live with cancer” as she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, which is a type of bone marrow cancer, in July 2022. .

Asked if he loved theater as much as TV and movies, Comer told PA: “Yeah, I definitely have the bug.”

While the best supporting actor award went to Will Keen for Patriotsa, a compelling study of Russian dissent by The Crown’s Peter Morgan.
