The outback nurse who claimed Alice Springs children were being raped and abused in their homes has faced a Northern Territory court on charges of forgery and harassment.

Cosmetic surgery specialist Rachel Hale has been charged with using a carriage service to harass, making a false statement and forgery.

He appeared in Darwin Local Court on Wednesday.

Ms Hale was questioned by local news outlet The Mango Inquirer as she approached the court and checked in at the security checkpoint station in front of the Darwin courthouse.

He made national headlines last month after claiming he “feared for his life” while filming a troubled youth during a “scary night” at an Alice Springs hotel.

Hale then spoke out about the sexual abuse of children in remote indigenous communities, before being criticized online by critics who pointed out that she worked in the cosmetics industry and did not visit the camps in the city she was portraying.

One YouTube commenter claimed he just “threw Botox” in people’s faces and others claimed it was a fake.

Ms Hale, 45, responded by saying she had worked as a full-time cosmetic nurse for the past two years in the Territory, but previously worked for Darwin’s Danila Dilba Aboriginal Health Service at NT Health.

Inland nurse Rachel Hale, who claimed Alice Springs youths were violent on the streets because they were raped and beaten in their home, has been charged with three counts.

Nurse Rachel Hale arrives at Darwin court on Wednesday to appear on three counts of forgery, making a false statement and using a ride service to harass, just weeks after she filmed violent youths from her Alice Springs hotel.

Inside nurse Rachel Hale was filmed walking into Darwin courthouse to face charges just weeks after she claimed Alice Springs youths were raped in their homes and then was attacked online by trolls.

She said she had also worked in an alcoholism and rehabilitation center and in a jail, and also did cosmetic work.

It is unclear if her charges listed in Darwin Local Court have any connection to Ms Hale’s recent online battle with trolls which followed her posting numerous videos of teenagers beating and spitting on customers at the Diplomat Hotel. by Alice Springs.

The nurse was staying at a hotel in Alice when dozens of youths caused chaos downstairs during a crime crisis that has gripped the remote Northern Territory town in recent months.

He claimed that gangs of young men roamed the streets looking for trouble to escape violent lives at home where they are raped and beaten.

Much of the violence was blamed on the lifting of alcohol bans in Aboriginal communities outside of Alice Springs in July last year.

The bans have since been reinstated after a national outcry.

Ms Hale stated that the main reason children were on the streets was because of their deplorable home lives and the brutal sexual assaults in communities that she had witnessed during her 14 years of nursing in the NT.

‘Some of these houses have 10 to 15 people sleeping on the floor of a three-bedroom house. There is no personal hygiene, there are lice, scabies, fungal rashes, worms in the wounds, perforated ear drums, the level of care is shocking,” she said.

Rachel hale (above entering Darwin courthouse Wednesday) was attacked online by people questioning how a cosmetic nurse would know anything about violence in outback communities.

‘That is why the children are not at home, along with the vicious sexual assaults. The parents, the uncles, the cousins are all drinking and taking advantage of the children.

But after sharing anecdotes about some of the horrifying abuse, Ms Hale came under fire herself for giving an “unsubstantiated” theory amid claims she wasn’t a real nurse.

‘Can anyone confirm if Rachel Hale has ever worked as a nurse (no, not a cosmetic nurse) in Alice Springs?’ one person asked on Facebook.

“I can’t help but wonder what the hell Rachel Hale would know about the aborigines in Alice Springs.” asked Ton Tanuki in a lengthy YouTube clip attacking her.

In response, Ms Hale said she had received countless “disgusting” and threatening messages.

“Everybody started calling me and texting me, saying I’m fake and I’ve never witnessed anything,” she said.

“People say I’m just trying to promote my own profile. What am I gaining with this? I knew I would get kickback, but I didn’t think it would be that bad.
