The Endgame author, 42, this afternoon posted a screenshot to his followers on
Mr. Scobie’s post caused a lot of speculation among fans about what would be announced, with many asking what announcement he was teasing.
But it appears Scobie deleted the post after receiving criticism online, about an hour after the Princess of Wales’ release.
One user, Laura, responded to his post, tweeting: ‘Disgusting man. Literally shame on you.”
Another social media user, Imogen Purtill, said: ‘Will you shut up Scobie now? Are you happy now?’

Kate underwent major abdominal surgery in January, and although her condition was initially believed not to be cancer, today she bravely revealed that cancer had been found.
The Princess of Wales said her doctors advised her that she should begin a course of preventative chemotherapy, which she is currently undergoing.
After the Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis, Mr Scobie shared the video and wrote: ‘Kate, The Princess of Wales has shared that she is undergoing treatment for cancer. The abdominal surgery she underwent in January was successful, but tests she performed afterwards revealed cancer and she began a course of chemotherapy.’
He then shared a screenshot of a written version of her statement, which he said was “brave.”
This comes after Mr Scobie recently spoke out about the reporting of the Princess of Wales’s Mother’s Day portrait as it was ‘killed’ by multiple photo agencies.
He tweeted on Sunday, March 10: “I wonder what it would be like if they had a good communications team.”
In a separate tweet, he described the killing of the photos as “mysterious” and added: “No comment from KP yet.”
Kate was pictured beaming next to her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in a photo taken by Prince William in Windsor.
But the Palace faced questions after the photo was first retracted by Reuters, AP, Getty, AFP and EPA over claims it had been digitally manipulated.
Mr Scobie also sparked a royal race row last November when a Dutch translation of his Endgame book appeared to accuse Kate and King Charles of racism after Meghan Markle claimed ‘concerns’ had been raised about her son Archie’s skin color in her bomb Oprah job interview in 2021.
In a deeply emotional video message filmed in Windsor on Wednesday, Catherine revealed that the news had come as a “huge shock” and that she and William “have done everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family . ‘.
The diagnosis came days after she was seen laughing with Prince William as they left their favorite farm shop near their home in Windsor.

Mr Scobie criticized X for his alarm post after Kate’s announcement
It is understood that the announcement was made this evening not because of unpleasant speculation on social media about her health and whereabouts – although that was disturbing and unpleasant – but because her children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louise, five, left school today, which gave them the opportunity to take them privately and protect them from the inevitable public shock.
Kensington Palace has said it will not share details about what type of cancer the princess has, or what stage of cancer it is, and has asked people not to speculate.
Speaking from a bench surrounded by daffodils and spring blossoms, the Princess of Wales said: ‘I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank you for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding while I was recovering from surgery.
‘It’s been an incredibly tough few months for our whole family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful. In January I had major abdominal surgery in London and at the time my condition was deemed to be non-cancerous.
‘The operation was successful. However, tests after the surgery revealed that cancer was present. My medical team therefore recommended that I undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.
‘This obviously came as a huge shock, and William and I have done everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.’

Her statement continued: “As you can imagine, this has taken time. It took me time to recover from major surgery before I could start my treatment.
‘But most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that suits them, and to reassure them that I will be fine.
“As I told them; I am doing well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirit. Having William by my side is also a great source of comfort and reassurance.
“As has the love, support and kindness shown by so many of you. It means so much to both of us. We hope you understand that we as a family now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment.
‘My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.
‘At this time I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been touched by cancer. To anyone facing this disease in any form, please do not lose faith and hope. You are not alone.’
