Olivia Dunne calls for boyfriend Paul Skenes to get his Pittsburgh Pirates MLB debut – and the LSU gymnast ALREADY has her outfits picked out!

Olivia Dunne is hoping it’s just a matter of time before her boyfriend Paul Skenes – the hugely exciting pitching prospect in the MLB – finally makes his debut in the big leagues.

Skenes is dominating for Triple-A Indianapolis and while the Pittsburgh Pirates want to be patient with their 21-year-old protégé, it doesn’t appear they can contain him much longer.

His girlfriend since last summer, LSU gymnast and TikTok star Olivia Dunne, is already preparing as if his MLB debut is just around the corner.

In conversation with TMZ, she said, “He’s a great guy and we support each other in everything. He certainly makes me a better person.

“I have no idea (when his MLB debut will be). I hope soon! I start getting all my merchandise ready. I picked out my outfits.”

Skenes led an Indianapolis victory over St Paul Saints last Thursday, throwing 34 pitches of 100 miles per hour or more in 3.1 innings.

He struck out eight, while giving up just one hit and two walks, in his fourth start of the season.

Skene’s fastest throw that night reached 100.1 mph, with the biggest outstanding question being when Pittsburgh will call him up to the big league roster.

Dunne, meanwhile, has recently enjoyed her own success in gymnastics, with her LSU team winning their first-ever NCAA Gymnastics Championship this weekend.

However, she now faces a big question about her own future, with a fifth year of study being offered due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In an interview with TODAY earlier this week, Dunne said: “It definitely makes me want to come back, but I haven’t really thought about it yet.

“I’m just focused on now and winning this national title, so I’ll definitely think about it.”
