Jake Paul confronts Ryan Garcia over his failed drug tests as he tells boxer he’ll be ‘p****d off’ with him if he knowingly took PEDs

Jake Paul has told Ryan Garcia he will be ‘p****d’ with him as a friend if it turns out the troubled boxer knowingly took performance-enhancing drugs.

Garcia, 25, tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine the day before and the day of his victory over Devin Haney on April 20, with boxing journalist Dan Rafael breaking the news earlier this week.

It has cast a heavy shadow on a victory that went down as the biggest of his career to date, after he tested Haney three times en route to a majority decision triumph.

Since his positive tests came to light on Wednesday, Garcia has protested his innocence on social media, insisting he never knowingly took performance-enhancing drugs.

And on Friday evening, the fighter did it again while on Instagram live with good friend Paul, who confronted him about his failed tests.

Paul, the YouTuber-turned-fighter who will fight boxing legend Mike Tyson this summer, first asked Garcia to request a B sample test, which will give him another chance to clear his name.

“Bro, I’ll piss in a cup now,” he replied. “I don’t use steroids, bro. Can anyone help me here? I don’t use steroids.’

Paul said, “It’s just awkward when you came for them.”

He then asked Garcia how the banned substance got into his system if he had never knowingly used PEDs.

“Bro, there’s only one way,” he replied. “If all my tests came back clean from the day before my fight and the day after… they clearly set me up, man.”

“But Ryan… if you did, that really sucks, bro,” Paul fired back. “And I’ll laugh at you as a friend. That sucks bro.”

Garcia then told Paul that he would quit boxing if he ever felt the need to take PEDs.

He has come under heavy criticism after returning positive tests, with UFC legend Conor McGregor telling him to ‘keep your head together or commit suicide’ in a chilling social media post.

Garcia also saw a possible justification for Ostarine being knocked out of his system this week, after suggesting it could come from the Ashwagandha Root supplement ‘Gaia Herbs’. However, the manufacturers subsequently took to social media to deny that their product contained Ostarine.

Despite this week’s revelation, Garcia is refusing to let his failed drug tests bring him down after he was spotted on a night out in Las Vegas with a mystery woman on Friday.

Before his former stablemate Canelo Alvarez faces Jaime Mungia on Saturday night, the social media sensation will head to the famous Vegas strip or a night out at Zouk Nightclub.

He was seen walking hand in hand to the Resorts World Casino club with a mysterious brunette, who appeared to be the same woman he bought a $1.5 million engagement ring for last month.

The identity of this new love interest is still unclear, but in a recent post that has since been deleted, Garcia was seen discussing the price of the ring with a sales associate, who told him it was “$1.5 million.” used to be.
