Prince Harry could become King of England in 2024 according to the writings of history's most infamous seer: 16th-century French astrologer Nostradamus.
His infamous work Les Propheties (The Prophecies), published in 1555, predicts the future using 942 quatrains – poetic verses.
Some credit this text with predicting 9/11, the rise of Adolf Hitler, and the development of artificial intelligence.
The pharmacist, described as the 'prophet of doom', was inspired by biblical texts and his own experiences with the plague, with predictions often focusing on famine and sorrow.

Joe Biden and Xi Jinping met last month in an attempt to thaw tensions between their countries, but Nostradamus predicted a conflict with a 'Red opponent'
What did Nostradamus predict for 2024?
Confrontation with China
Joe Biden sought to thaw relations with China when he and Xi Jinping met in November 2023 to discuss Taiwan, fentanyl and climate change.
However, Nostradamus' predictions suggest that it could all have been in vain.
In a verse that begins by describing “battles and sea-battles,” he writes of how a “Red adversary will turn pale with fear, causing the great Ocean to be in anguish.”
The 'Red opponent' could refer to China, given the color of their flag, and the references to maritime conflict are eerie in light of the escalating debate over the state of Taiwan – with the island located at the intersection of the East and South Chinese Ocean. .
And this is certainly a conflict to be avoided if the adversary in question is China, with Beijing having the largest navy in the world.
The famous seer also predicted that the 'King of the Isles' would be 'forcibly driven out' and replaced by 'one who will have no mark of a king', which author Mario Reading interpreted as Prince Harry throwing King Charles on the throne would replace.
Royal unrest
British author and Nostradamus commentator Mario Reading has previously spoken about how the French astrologer – whose full name was Michel de Nostredame – may have foresaw the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
And the seer could be in for another royal reckoning, with one of his predictions speaking of the 'King of the Isles' having a controversial divorce and being 'forcibly driven out'.
He is then replaced by 'someone who will not have the mark of a king'.
In Reading's analysis, this suggests that King Charles III abdicated due to 'persistent attacks on both himself and his second wife', and that Harry replaces him, rather than William or any of his children, as the man who showed 'no sign of has a king'. '.
Nostradamus predicts in one of his quatrains that 'the dry earth continues to dry out', with forest fires having increased enormously in the past year
Climate catastrophe
With 2024 focused on the COP28 summit, this Nostradamus prediction could build on December's events in Dubai, which are expected to break records for CO2 emissions – not a good sign.
Climate chaos has already begun, with the number of forest fires, floods and droughts increasing worldwide in recent years, especially in 2023.
But what's interesting is how he seems to have foreseen these apocalyptic events all those centuries ago.
He predicts, “The dry earth will dry out even more, and there will be great floods when you see it.”
Elsewhere he warns of storms leading to famine. “Very great famine due to a wave of plague,” he wrote.
Pope Francis, who is currently in his mid-80s and has struggled with health problems recently, could go further
A new Pope
According to Les Propheties, the king is not the only important figure eligible for replacement.
Pope Francis, who is currently in his mid-80s and has struggled with health problems recently, could go further.
One passage reads: 'By the death of a very old Pope a Roman of good age will be elected. He will be said to weaken his seat, but long will he remain seated and in biting activity.'
What did Nostradamus get right about 2023?
One of Nostradamus' passages could be applied to the Russian war in Ukraine, which caused the price of wheat to skyrocket. Pictured: A rocket landed in a wheat field in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, in March 2023
One of the prophecies that could apply to both 2022 and 2023 concerns the rising cost of living since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
'That's how high the bushel of wheat will rise,' wrote Nostradamus, 'that man will eat his fellow man.'
Since February 2022, wheat prices have risen to even higher levels than after the financial crash of the late 2000s, and are now just beginning to fall back to pre-war levels.
And while cannibalism has not gained a foothold, a metaphorical interpretation might compare it to the bloodshed of the very same war.
