Noreen Nash dead at 99: MGM star of Giant and The Southerner dies of natural causes at her Beverly Hills home

Hollywood star Noreen Nash has died at the age of 99, her son has announced.

Famous for her roles in 1940s and 1950s films, Nash died of natural causes at her home in Beverly Hills, California.

Her eldest son Lee Siegel Jr. shared the sad news The Hollywood Reporter.

Film fans will know the star from titles such as The Southerner, Giant and The Lone Ranger and the Lost City of Gold.

During a career spanning two decades, the actor appeared in B-movies, including Phantom From Space (1953), in which he played a kidnapped scientist, which was filmed at LA’s famed Griffith Observatory.
