It comes after Nicole posted a poignant Instagram clip last week in which she shared her wishes to become a theater star – 16 years before she had a successful Broadway stint.
The 2008 social media video showed her filming the music video for her band’s hit When I Grow Up – across the street from the Broadway theaters in New York.
Looking fresh-faced, she says in the clip, “It’s so crazy because when I was growing up I thought that’s what I would do, that I would be on that side of the street and not this side of the street .
‘But one day I will come home to the stage again, I miss it…’
The video then showed clips of her on stage at Sunset Boulevard and getting ready backstage – illustrating how she made it.
She wrote in the caption, “BTS footage from PCD’s music video ‘When I Grow Up’ – 16 years later…I’ve come home again. @sunsetblvdmusical.’

Nicole plays fading star Norma Desmond in the Broadway musical, who dreams of making her comeback and enlists the help of a struggling screenwriter.
Based on the 1950 film of the same name, it first premiered on London’s West End in 1993 starring Patti Lupone as Norma Desmond, while Glenn Close starred in the 1994 Broadway run.
Close also returned for the 2016 West End revival and the 2017 Broadway revival, although Scherzinger had a starring role in the 2023 West End revival.
She took home the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and after a successful preview run—raising $1 million in its first week—the show opened in earnest at the St. James Theater in October.
Nicole has received numerous standing ovations in her Broadway debut so far, including one that lasted a whopping six minutes, according to People.
