Nicole Kidman’s niece Lucia Hawley became confused during an interview with Austin Butler at the State Theater during the Sydney Film Festival on Thursday evening.
The 7Bravo reporter, 25, tried to talk to Austin, 32, about his new movie The Bikeriders, but was quickly left red-faced when he turned the tables.
Footage shared to Instagram showed Hawley introducing himself to the Elvis star when, in a surprising turn of events, he began ‘interviewing’ her.
‘I don’t like to talk about myself. Are you from Sydney?’ Butler asked her, and she said yes, joking that she was the one asking the questions.
“What else can you tell me, how old are you and what are you interested in?” Butler asked.

Hawley replied that she was interested in art and Butler then asked her where she finds “cool” artwork, prompting an embarrassed Lucia to burst out laughing.
“I should probably answer questions because this is my job. If I don’t, I’ll get in trouble,” she joked.
Followers quickly took to the comments section to express their amusement at the hilarious clip, joking that Butler – who is dating Kaia Gerber – was flirting with her.

Hawley is the daughter of veteran Australian TV presenter Antonia Kidman – Nicole’s younger sister – and her late ex-husband Angus Hawley.
Last year, Lucia said she shouldn’t be called a “nepo baby” after landing a coveted new gig hosting red carpet events for Live From E! on Seven Network’s new channel 7Bravo.
“I’ve been working towards this,” she told The Sunday Telegraph at the time.
“Having a mother who has been in the industry, you get that perspective and understanding through osmosis and I think that’s been one of the biggest things that helped prepare me for this role, just watching her and how she carried herself through it all.”
