Nicola Peltz reveals husband Brooklyn Beckham ‘panicked’ on their wedding day

Nicola Peltz reveals that her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, was “in a panic” the morning of their wedding, after spending their first night apart.

The actress, 28, says the budding chef, 24, kept texting her as she got ready for fear she would suddenly chicken out.

Things didn’t help, as Nicola kept Brooklyn waiting for herself taking photos in her stunning Valentino wedding dress before realizing she was running late.

‘Our only night apart last year was the night before the wedding. We were in a panic. He was texting me on the day of the wedding asking, “Are you walking down the aisle? Are you walking down the aisle?” she says. Cosmopolitan as she stars in their April/May issue.

‘Because I was taking photos with Luigi and Iango, who are these photographers that I have become so close with. And we love taking pictures together so much that I was like, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to be late. I have to walk down the aisle.”

‘When I picked up my phone, Brooklyn had sent a text: “What are you doing? Are you ready? Are you ready?” I was like, “Yeah. I’m going to walk. Don’t worry. I love you.”

In another part of the interview, nicola reveals she hopes to ‘save money’ to buy a house and put down family roots with my husband brooklyn.

The heiress explained that the couple hopes to raise children in Los Angeles due to work commitments and is currently trying to raise the funds for their ‘dream home’.

Nicola explained that she and Brooklyn would love to start a family in New York City, but have decided to work towards establishing a base in Los Angeles.

Nicola hopes to make her mark in Hollywood with a budding acting career, while Brooklyn is starting out as a chef.

Peltz, 80, claims the couple was fired just weeks before the extravagant three-day wedding due to alleged “mistakes”.

But last month, Braghin and Grijalba responded by calling Peltz a “thug billionaire” and filed a countersuit in a Miami court for breach of contract and “interference” in a business deal.

They are also suing bride Nicola Peltz Beckham, her mother Claudia and wedding designer Rishi Patel for damages of at least £41,000 plus costs, which could be in the hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The women’s company, Plan Design Events, was hired in February 2022, just six weeks before the lavish wedding.

The planners agreed to a fee of £264,000 and Mr Peltz paid a deposit of half that amount.

They took over from Preston Bailey, an industry icon who previously planned Catherine Zeta-Jones’s wedding to Michael Douglas. He said that he left by mutual consent after a year of work because his schedule was ‘overcommitted’.

But the planners who replaced him say things were so chaotic, with multiple guest lists and a girlfriend reportedly “too busy” to talk on the phone, things quickly went downhill.
