Katie Dadzie has addressed the 28-year age difference between her and partner Nick Knowles while joking that he acts like a “teenager.”
The 32-year-old sex toy business owner shared the secret to their happy relationship while gushing about the 60-year-old DIY SOS star, who recently criticized their romance.
Katie addressed their 28-year age difference, insisting she doesn’t notice it because she acts older than she is, while Nick has a ‘Peter Pan complex’.
She said Sun: ‘Nick has a Peter Pan complex, he doesn’t act at all at his age. He’s like a teenager and has so much energy, he also acts a little bit older, so he works.’
Katie went on to reveal that the secret to their successful relationship is having separate houses and maintaining their own independence.

Giving insight into their relationship, Katie said they are “really happy” and said they make sure they have time apart for their work and to spend with their kids.
Katie has two daughters, Savannah, eight, and Alex, five, from a previous relationship, while Nick has four children from three different relationships.
He shares daughter Tuesday and son Charlie with ex-wife Gillian, while he shares another son, TJ, with dancer Paula Beckett.
Nick also has a son, Eddie, who was born in 2014, with his ex-wife Jessica Rose Moor, and the presenter met his girlfriend Katie through their youngest son.
Katie shared that both of her children had become friends with Nick’s son Eddie, saying they met through their children’s socializing.
However, Boobbix’s owner admitted that she originally didn’t like Nick, saying it took her a while to get used to him.
Speaking about meeting Nick, she said: “I didn’t really like him very much (…) ‘I’m very shy and quiet, whereas Nick is quite outgoing and a complete talker.’
Katie joked that Nick didn’t give her many chances to talk initially, but said that when they went on a coffee date, she got to know him better and realized they had a lot in common.

She said they then spent a lot of time talking on the phone during the lockdown, and the couple have been going from strength to strength in their romance ever since.
The loving couple sparked engagement rumors on Valentine’s Day when Katie posted a photo of a sparkling ring on her Instagram, but Katie clarified that it was an engagement ring.
She said Nick had given her an aquamarine diamond ring for her birthday in February, followed by an eternity band to show his “commitment” to her.
Looking ahead, Katie said she and Nick don’t plan to have any more children and said she doesn’t know if they will get married.
Nick, who split from his wife Jessica in 2016, made his first appearance with Katie in September 2021, after ending his affair with PR guru Emily Hallinan, 27, in February 2020.
Nick and Katie made their public debut as a couple in a Bath restaurant after being friends for several years.
The couple have previously come under fire for their affair with Nick and recently hit back at the criticism.
In February, the host of Who Dares Wins said Sun who had recently responded to online trolls when he and Katie stepped out at the Inspiration Awards in London.
He said: “I’m protective of Katie, because people make assumptions about her without knowing anything about her, which is why I spoke up.”
“Normally I never comment on trolls, but on one occasion when people were a bit critical I was mad at Katie.”
And he added: “I get angry when they come for people I care about.”
Nick previously told him Sun about being targeted by trolls, saying: ‘I choose to be on TV. As a result, I wait the full nine meters. I’m up there like an object.

Last year, Nick took to Twitter to point out to his critics that Katie was “richer and more successful” than him after vicious trolls claimed she was dating him for “fame.”
He wrote: ‘[Katie] she’s richer and more successful than me and she’s smart and independent, unlike the abusive trolls that target her. ‘What happened to #bekind?’
Katie owns two businesses, one called Boa Boa, which sells lingerie and sex toys, and another called Boobbix, which markets “lactation products for breastfeeding moms.”
