Max Greenfield is doing some good in the world this month.
The New Girl actor is teaming up with Paper Mate launches the brand’s latest initiative, Thanks to Teachers.
It is a campaign designed to reduce the financial burden on teachers across the country.
And it provides them with the money they need to buy supplies and tools for the success of their classrooms.

Thanks: The New Girl actor has teamed up with Paper Mate to launch the brand’s latest initiative, Thanks to Teachers
He announced the initiative and made a $20,000 donation to the school to show appreciation for all that their teachers do for their students.
Now, with the help of AdoptAClassroom.org, Paper Mate will further this initiative by surprising an additional 450 teachers across the country with a $200 donation on their individual fundraising page on the AdoptAClassroom.org site.
That’s enough to provide about 11,250 students with the supplies they need for the coming year.
In 2020, Greenfield surprised fans by documenting his efforts to raise his rather unruly daughter Lilly on Instagram.
Greenfield received critical acclaim for posting a smiley face photo in mid-March 2020 at a desk with his child,
He captioned it, “#HomeSchooling #ProfessorGreenfield God Help Us All,” along with a series of prayer hand emojis.

Perhaps that was prophetic, as in later messages ‘the atmosphere in the classroom ha[d] worsened,” he captioned a video ten days later of Lilly clapping back at her dad as she was typing.
Greenfield, who shares both Lilly and son Ozzie James with his casting director wife Tess Sanchez, sat behind his daughter, looking bored and impatient in the clip.
“How long does it take a person to type Massachusetts?” he wondered allowed.
To which Lilly replied, “Hey Dad, I need your s*** like I need a whole head!”

Other posts have resulted in similar side-splitting exchanges, such as when the pair idly start singing a new Dua Lipa song while they’re at work and Lilly shuts down her dad for having “a dog’s voice,” or when she berates him, “I bet you’re rethinking your own school experience, all that time you spent puff-puff-puff and glug-gluk-glug!’
Lilly wasn’t always in charge, though.
At one point, Max caught the rambunctious teen practicing her TikTok dance moves when she should be paying attention.
For that clip, Max recognized the monumental efforts of real school instructors in the caption, writing “God bless the teachers (the real ones).”
