Netflix viewers demand streaming giant releases second season of new number one show after being left with ‘so many unanswered questions’

Netflix fans have demanded a second series of the show, which has soared to the top of the charts on the streaming service.

Their new hit hit the top 10 in 91 countries from December 4 to 10, including number five in Britain and number one in the US.

Globally, it was only surpassed by Obliterated, which had 9 million views in seven days, up from 7.5 million.

Many of those millions of viewers went to X to insist on a second part of the story, leaving them with “so many unanswered questions.”

They threatened to “never forgive” the platform if Season 2 was not commissioned.

Viewers are demanding a second season of My Lift With The Walter Boys (Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie above) – a show about teen love and loss that is a hit on the Netflix charts

One Netflix user said they would “never forgive” the streaming platform if they don't commission a second season

My Life With The Water Boys stars Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie Howard.

“If My Life With The Walter Boys Doesn't Get A Second Season, I'll Never Forgive Netflix…”

'I stayed up until 5am last night watching my life with the Walter boys on Netflix and I have a lot of thoughts

'My life with the Walter boys is good (as f***) on Netflix, I hope it gets a new season!…

“Netflix, you better not cancel this show after 1 season. You better not do it with my life with the WALTER BOYS. LIKE I NEED SEASON 2…

“I just finished My Life with the Walter Boys on Netflix and I need a sequel BC WTF.”

Those who enjoyed the show's debut may be in luck, as the creator suggested a “long-running series” would make sense

Without giving the game away, the series ends with a series of heartbreaks, and certainly some loose ends that a potential second season could resolve.

And fans may be in luck, as show creator Melanie Halsall suggested there could be a “long-running series” inspired by Ali Novak Wattpad's novel of the same name.

She said: 'When I first read it I saw the potential for a long-running series because there is such a large cast.

“I could also see where the adaptation would work, how you would change it to work for TV.”
