NeNe Leakes says she misses late husband Gregg ‘more than words can say’ on what would have been his 68th ‘heavenly’ birthday
NeNe Leakes took to Instagram on Wednesday to pay tribute to her late ex-husband Gregg Leakes on what would have been his 68th birthday.
The 55-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star – who is being sued for unpaid rent – shared two throwback photos on the platform, along with a heartfelt caption.
She addressed her 4.3 million followers, writing, “Happy Birthday Gregg! Today you would eat your favorite foods! French fries and chicken tenders.’
She added, “That’s why I love you. It was the simple things about you that got me every time! I love you and miss you more than words can say!’
She closed the caption, writing, “My Man My Man My Mannnn.”

NeNe married the real estate investor in 1997, but divorced him in 2011, only to marry again two years later.
She was with Gregg to the end and held his hand through his final moments as he died of cancer.
In the weeks following her husband’s death, NeNe revealed to People that Gregg’s dying wish was for her to “move on” with her life.
“I’m not going to leave you. God will bless you,” she recalled him telling her. “He said he wanted me to move on with my life.”
She told the outlet that the last five days of Gregg’s life were “really beautiful” as he was surrounded by his kids and his closest friends.
“We were all with him around the clock. We talked a lot and made peace with what happened,” she recalled.
Three months after Gregg’s passing, NeNe found love again with her new boyfriend Nyonisela Sioh.
She debuted their relationship at her 54th birthday party in December 2021.

In unfortunate news, Leakes is being sued over alleged $22,900 in unpaid rent for her former clothing store Swagg Boutique in Georgia.
The star is being sued by her landlord at the Lawrenceville shopping center Sugarloaf Mills, where the clothing store was located.
According to documents obtained by TMZthe landlord claims that Leakes first signed a lease in 2017 and then extended it for another year in 2021.
The landlord claims that Leakes vacated the property in January 2022 when the lease expired, but was unable to pay the $22,900 balance.
