Eerie photos of the abandoned set of Australian soap Neighbours have surfaced nearly four months after its last episode aired in July.

The Melbourne production studio where generations of Aussie stars, including Margot Robbie, Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue began their careers, has still not been cleaned up after production was completed.

Discarded props, like the famous Ramsay Street signpost, serve as a sad reminder of the once-popular show, which was canceled in March after 37 years on the air.

The Waterhole pub, where much of the show’s drama took place, has also gone green with algae and overgrown with weeds.

The behind-the-scenes photos will no doubt evoke bittersweet memories for the millions of Australians and Brits who have watched Neighbors for over three decades.

The all-star Neighbours final saw the long-running Australian series win TV ratings for the first time in over a decade.

The episode, which aired simultaneously on Channel 10 and 10 Peach, attracted 873,000 subway viewers on both stations, thanks in large part to the cast of returning favorites such as Guy Pearce, Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.

No other entertainment program came close to Neighbours, as it capped off its historic 37-year run with a 90-minute special.
