Natalie Portman made a stylish figure as she arrived in Cannes on Wednesday for the 76th annual film festival.

The actress, 41, is in town for the May December premiere in which she stars alongside Julianna Moore.

Natalie exuded airport chic in light-washed jeans, white trainers and a gray plaid blazer.

She pulled her hair back into a low bun and shielded her eyes with tortoiseshell sunglasses as she walked through the arrivals hall.

The stars have gathered this week for the Cannes Film Festival.

The festival previews new films of all genres, including documentaries, from around the world.

Founded in 1946, the invitation-only festival is held annually (usually in May) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

The film is set when a couple, whose romance was previously the source of tabloid fodder due to their age difference, welcome twins and are now faced with the prospect of having a movie made about their lives.

When a Hollywood actress visits the two to learn more about the woman, the family dynamic begins to unravel.

Natalie will play actress Elizabeth Berry, while Moore and Melton will play the couple.

The V For Vendetta actress also acts as one of the film’s producers, alongside figures like Will Ferrell.

Todd Haynes is directing the project and Samy Burch wrote the screenplay.

The filmmaker issued a statement through which he expressed himself deadline that he was particularly impressed with the film’s screenplay.

“What attracted me to Samy Burch’s exceptional script was how it navigated potentially volatile subjects with a kind of observational patience that allowed the characters in the story to be explored with unusual subtlety.”
