Naomi Watts spends quality time with her teen son Sasha, 17, while the pair go for a weekend walk in New York City

Naomi Watts shared a glimpse into the sweet time she spent with her eldest child, son Sasha.

The 55-year-old British-Australian actress shared an adorable photo of herself and the 17-year-old on Instagram Stories over the weekend while out for a stroll in New York City.

Her teenage son, who she is dating with her ex Liev Schreiber, towered over the King Kong actress as they posed for a casual photo.

Mother and son both wore black tops, with Naomi adding a large gold pendant.

The Mulholland Drive actress completed her look with a pair of statement sunglasses and smiled as she took the selfie.

Sasha, meanwhile, wore a simple black T-shirt.

The actress captioned the sweet photo: “Saturdays with my boy, Sasha Schreiber.”

Naomi and Liev, 56, started dating in 2005 and had two children: Sasha in 2007 and Kai, 15, in 2008.

The couple split in 2016. Naomi married her Gypsy co-star Billy Crudup in June 2023 and Liev married Taylor Niesen in July 2023.

Naomi and Liev maintain a friendly relationship, as they raise the children together.

Liev and Naomi were together for 11 years before splitting in 2016. This development was overshadowed by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s much more public and intense divorce around the same time.

Liev and Naomi, on the other hand, maintained such an amicable co-parenting relationship that they self-isolated with Taylor during the coronavirus lockdown so Sasha and Kai could be with their parents.

Naomi previously revealed that Sasha (and her other child Kai) are interested in acting, but she admitted she was ambivalent about it.

“It looks like they got the virus,” said Naomi, who admitted she has “mixed feelings” about her children becoming artists, via Net-a-Porter.

The Ring star also shared that her children have been given the opportunity to develop their interests at performing arts camps.

“Hashtag is not my childhood,” she joked at the time.
