A woman has revealed her marriage dilemma after discovering her husband was staying with a female colleague after a Christmas party.
Towards the British parenting platform Mothernetshe explained that her partner claimed the woman was too sick to go alone at the end of the night.
The man claimed that his colleague “spitted and fell over when she got into a taxi,” so he decided to go with her to see if she was okay.
The concerned woman asked other women on the forum what their husbands would do in that situation.
In response, other people on the forum were divided, no matter how many people think the woman's husband did the right thing.

The message read: 'My (husband) was on his Christmas night out tonight. I started quite early and he said he'd be home around 11pm – I didn't mind at all that he decided to extend it to a big night.
'I texted at 1.50am to check everything was ok and he asked me to call him as soon as possible.
'As I understand it, one of the women got so incredibly drunk that she was very ill and unsafe. Spitting and falling as she got into a taxi. My husband went home with her to make sure she was okay.
'She's lying unconscious on the floor now because she's been sick all over. He says he is sick. He doesn't want to leave her because she lives alone and he's not sure if she's safe.
“He thinks he should stay until morning, or at least until she wakes up. What would your husband do in that situation?'
Although the woman seemed concerned about her husband's message, many commenters felt her husband had done the right thing in case his colleague's condition worsened.
One person said: 'Thank God he's here. Go help him if you can.”
Another said: 'Poor girl, what a terrible end to the night out, both for her and your husband. Your husband is an absolute star and a thoroughly decent guy.
“It's fair for him and for you to make sure she's okay.”
Taking to the British parenting platform, she explained that her partner claimed the woman was too sick to be left alone
Someone else commented: 'I'm sure I'm going against the grain, but your husband sounds like a good guy. I might put her on the couch, put a blanket over it and leave.
'I don't think an adult will die if left drunk. Maybe he can call a colleague, but it sounds a bit late for that.'
While another said: 'You've got a good one there. I think my husband would do the same, or I like to think about it anyway! I hope you both can catch up on some sleep today. I'd like to know more about the aftermath!'
However, others said he should have called a friend of his colleague (or an ambulance) if she felt very unwell.
One person said: 'I think he would be incredibly stupid and naive if he stayed alone with her for a night. Does he have someone else's number he can call to stay the night?'
Another person said: 'Call an ambulance. He can't be expected to stay with her 'just in case'
“She is a grown adult who chose to drink until she was so drunk she lost control.”
Someone else wrote: 'I would call an ambulance and report her as unwell if she can't be woken up and is so drunk she's gone.'
Many suggested he did the right thing by staying and making sure the woman didn't 'choke on her own vomit'
Others were concerned about how the sick woman would feel in the morning if a man was in her house.
One person said: 'If she is drunk and wakes up with a man in her house it could be a concern for everyone involved.'
Another agreed, saying: 'Is he medically trained? So strange that when she lost consciousness, his first thought was not to seek medical help.
'It's not just someone throwing up. Her drink may have been spiked, she may be dehydrated, or she may have alcohol poisoning.

The original poster later updated the thread to say she called the woman's house and picked up her husband
“If I were the woman in this position, no matter how familiar I am with the married man, I would at least wonder why he chooses to be the hero instead of providing me with medical attention.”
The original poster later updated the thread to say she called the woman's house and picked up her husband.
She wrote: 'I went there. She lies in bed, drunk but able to talk. No danger whatsoever. Considering the amount of vomit all over her house, there's nothing left in her anyway. Poor girl, what a thing to walk into.
'I picked up my husband (who was in his pants and a towel, she was so sick of his shirt he had to take it off) and he's showering him now. What a night.'
