Gia Carides was single in 2015 after almost twenty years of marriage.
And the Australian actress, who was married to fellow actor Anthony LaPaglia for 17 years, says that as she approaches the age of 60, she is not optimistic about finding love again.
“I’m old enough and cynical enough to accept that it might not happen,” the 59-year-old says in this week’s issue Stellar magazine.
“But the romantic in me makes me believe it could be done,” the My Big Fat Greek Wedding star continued.
‘I’m certainly open to it, although I’m probably the only one who hasn’t tried the apps yet. I just have nothing to do with it.

The couple’s split became public in 2015 when LaPaglia filed legal papers in the US citing irreconcilable differences, after which the couple officially divorced a year later.
The former couple have one child together, daughter Bridget LaPaglia, 21.
Just three months after announcing the split, Anthony revealed he was dating a Melbourne woman, Alexandra Henkel, who was just 26 at the time.

Just three months after announcing the split, Anthony revealed he was dating a Melbourne woman, Alexandra Henkel (right), who was just 26 at the time. The 65-year-old star married Alexandra in 2018, who at 33 is more than thirty years younger than him.
The pair rose to fame when they walked the red carpet together at the Los Angeles premiere of Mad Max: Fury Road that year.

LaPaglia, who lives in California, married Carides in 1998 after they starred together in the 1994 Australian film Lucky Break, known as Paperback Romance in America.
He is best known for his role as Jack Malone in the drama series Without A Trace, a role that earned him a Golden Globe Award in 2004.
