Mum-of-two slammed for taking 18 suitcases on a family holiday from Australia to America hits back at cruel trolls: ‘Why are you so bothered?’

Australian singer Joanne Hadjia, better known as Joey Dija, has been criticized online after revealing that she and her family of four had taken 18 pieces of luggage on holiday.

The former X Factor contestant showed off the huge pile of luggage before she, her twin daughters Ava and Aya and husband Omar boarded a flight from Sydney to San Francisco.

The 32-year-old showed the pile of bags in an attempt to reveal the “reality” of flying with young children.

In the video, she can be seen holding her Louis Vuitton handbag in front of the pile of bags before showing off her babies in their cots.

Joey and her husband Omar are smitten for their huge amount of luggage

She then showed her hand luggage, which consisted of a duffel bag, a small suitcase and the designer bag.

“Besides, I will be carrying a baby,” she added.

“It may not seem like it, but I hardly brought anything for myself.”

But the mood soon turned against her and many people labeled the luggage as “excessive.”

“Are you moving or are you just traveling?” someone asked.

“We’ve never brought so much stuff and we have two twins,” said another.

“I honestly don’t think half of that is necessary,” criticized another.

The mother hit back, explaining that she and her family had only paid an additional $300 for the extra bags.

She also explained the contents to make her booty seem less exorbitant.

“These are all just car seats, strollers, and cots,” she said.

Joey said she barely packed anything for herself and that most of the 18 bags contained items for her twin girls

Two of them were filled with a portable recording studio – for the couple’s work, one was filled with the girls’ baby food and the other with Omar’s golf clubs.

She explained that the family of four was allowed 14 pieces of luggage and a stroller for each of their young children.

She added that the airline wasn’t concerned about how many bags they had, so no one else should be either.

She also said she planned to bring matching luggage, but by the time it was time to leave for the US, she didn’t care what she had.

The family left for the US for three months.
