- Two dessert package mixes recalled
- Customers are urged to return products immediately
Two dessert package mixes have been urgently recalled due to the presence of several undeclared allergens.
The Mt Elephant Choc Chunk Wholefood Brownie Mix and Banana Oat Wholefood Cookie Mix have been removed from the shelves.
Both products are sold at Woolworths, health food stores, independent retailers and online across Australia.
The brownie mix is also sold at Coles.
The cookie mix in question has a best-before date of 13/03/2025, while the brownie mix has a best-before date of 21/05/2025 and 22/05/2025.
Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) warned customers to return the products immediately.
“Any consumer who has a milk, peanut, almond allergy or intolerance may experience a reaction if the product is consumed,” they said.
Shoppers have been advised to return the products to the place where they purchased the items for a full refund.
Both products are sold at Woolworths and health food stores. The brownie mix is also sold at Coles (stock image)
“All consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” FSANZ said.
