  • Just hours before the annual Hanukkah parry, two separate anti-Israel protests took place outside the White House

Several dozen pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested and escorted from a Senate office building on Monday after lying on the ground and demanding that Congress stop supporting Israel against Hamas terrorists.

Meanwhile, elderly Jewish demonstrators in favor of a ceasefire also protested across the city by chaining themselves to the White House security fence.

And other anti-war protesters lay on the ground outside the White House on Monday under white sheets with fake blood and baby dolls everywhere, demanding to “stop collective punishment in Gaza.”

With a handful of anti-Israel protests taking place in Washington, D.C., on Monday, the group Bring Out Families Home is also holding a meal outside the White House to draw attention to the families who will not have members at their holiday tables this year. .

The group, whose mission is to get hostages out of Gaza, also plans to try to deliver Christmas decorations featuring the faces of still-at-large hostages held by Hamas terrorists.

Protesters on Capitol Hill lay down on the ground Monday, at times forcing Capitol Police officers to carry them off the floor of the Senate Hart Office Building. They stomped their feet on the ground in tantric movements to create sound and rhythm for their chant: “Ceasefire now.”

The anti-Israel demonstrators came armed with props of bloody potato sacks full of fake money with black letters: 'Stop arming Israel.'

They also wore black face coverings and black shirts with white lettering emblazoned with a few different messages – including “stop genocide now” and “invest in life.”

Both the protesters on Capitol Hill and at the White House come more than two months after Hamas terrorists launched a brutal and deadly attack on Israel on October 7 – leading to the largest single-day massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

Since then, pro-Palestinian protesters have defended Gaza's de facto government, Hamas, and demanded that Israel stop counterattacks in an effort to stop the Jewish state from defending itself against terrorists.

Hours before the White House's annual Hanukkah party, 18 Jewish leaders chained themselves to the fence surrounding the compound.

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will host the party Monday evening. Second Gen. Doug Emhoff, who is Jewish, will be in attendance.

Donning shirts with the message “Not in our names,” elderly Jewish protesters sat with their arms entangled on a cold and windy day in Washington, DC, to demand the president stop sending money to ally Israel.

On Monday, protesters outside the Hart Office building held a large banner that read: 'Aid' Israel = Bomb Palestinians.' Another smaller sign read: “Stop arming Israel.”

Elderly Jewish women also held hands as they chained themselves to the White House fence just hours before the White House's annual Hanukkah party, protesting aid to Israel to defend itself against Hamas.

The building's large black, angular sculpture by Alexander Calder became part of the protest when pro-Palestinian activists draped the Palestinian flag over it, along with a banner depicting a dove holding an olive branch. “People choose life,” the banner says.

Congress is on hold as it considers legislation to approve a new aid package this week for both Ukraine and Israel in their respective wars.

President Joe Biden has repeatedly said the US stands with Israel and will continue to provide aid and assistance as needed. But far-left progressive lawmakers have pushed back, claiming Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

But pro-Israel activists on the right say they are only defending themselves against Hamas terrorists operating from the Gaza Strip.
