Moment Las Vegas man lunges at suspect charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting teen outside courtroom – in SAME building flying felon viciously attacked judge

A man in Las Vegas lunged at a suspect accused of kidnapping and sexually abusing a teenager outside a courtroom.

Yousuf Azami, 59, is accused of having a teenage girl in his home in September and was in Las Vegas court for a preliminary hearing on kidnapping, fornication and sexual assault Tuesday.

Supervision footage, obtained by 8 News Nowcaptured the moment a man associated with the alleged victim walked up to Azami and knocked him to the ground.

It shows several people rushing towards the two fighting men and trying to break it up. Glenn Cromwell Jr. was identified as the man who attacked Azami and he was arrested and charged with battery.

The incident took place in the same court where a thug jumped over a table and viciously attacked a judge earlier in January.

Video of the incident shows Azami getting up and walking down the courtroom hallway before Cromwell gets up and follows him.

Cromwell, wearing a gray tracksuit, stops briefly next to the suspect before punching Azami in the face.

He then repeatedly punches the suspect who has fallen to the ground before others, including a police officer, rush to break it up.

The couple was subsequently separated and Cromwell was arrested and charged with battery.

Azami, an actor born in Afghanistan, is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl who told police she got into his car before he drove her to his home and raped her.

The young girl, who was 14 or 15 years old at the time of the alleged attack, told police she was looking for “something to smoke and eat” when she saw Azami in the parking lot of a marijuana dispensary.

He then drove her back to his apartment, according to police.

“Azami lay on the couch for a while with his phone and then joined her on the bed,” police said.

“(The teen) had just fallen asleep when Azami lay behind her. She stated that she felt his pelvis ‘grinding’ against her and that he was not wearing any clothes.’

She asked him to stop and shower before putting on one of Azami’s clothes and running out of his apartment, according to police.

The young girl then went to the Mirage Hotel where “she met a man who was picking up his wife.”

She told him “that she had been kidnapped and raped and that she needed police.”

Azami has denied the allegations and said he knew the teenager’s age.

The suspect is scheduled to return to court on February 20 and has been released on $5,000 bail. Based on his recognizance, he was released by a judge.

It comes after Deobra Redden, 30, attacked Clark County District Judge Mary Kay Holthus in the same court on Jan. 3.

He said ‘nah fuck that bitch” as he threw himself at her after she rejected his pleas for more probation. He also attacked the court marshal, who required 25 stitches as a result.

Redden later appeared in court to resume sentencing, wearing handcuffs, a spit mask on his face and orange mittens on his hands, where he was sentenced to 19 to 48 months for a misdemeanor battery charge.

He was subsequently charged with attempted murder for launching himself at Holthus. The charge was increased due to the age of the victim, as Holthus is over 60 years old.
