It comes after Molly-Mae, who is expecting a baby girl with boyfriend Tommy, revealed she felt “very sad” during the first two months of her pregnancy.
In a new YouTube video, she explained: “I had extreme emotions for up to seven weeks, so from discovering it to about seven or eight weeks, I was so emotional, I literally cried every day.
“The emotions were very high and I felt a lot of sadness, which was very strange because all our dreams had come true, I had become pregnant. I was so happy, but I couldn’t feel that happiness yet. Until eight weeks I felt very sad, which I did not expect.’
“I also wrote down her insomnia during my first trimester, I slept really badly.
“I would just lie there wide awake in bed, I also had very bad nightmares, very vivid dreams.”

She went on to list her symptoms: ‘My main symptom throughout my pregnancy was hunger, especially during my first trimester, the hunger was unlike anything I’ve ever, ever experienced. I knew that pregnant women “eat for two” and that you are hungry, but I didn’t know it was a clinical, medical issue.
“Sometimes I’d be in the car with Tommy and I’d be like, ‘If you don’t stop at a gas station now and help me get something to eat, I’ll fall to the ground.’ That was the level, it was unbelievable.’
Her latest update comes after explaining that she’s “disheartened” by how little she can feel her baby move because of her anterior placenta. This is when the placenta attaches to the anterior wall of the uterus.
PrettyLittleThing’s Creative Director wrote, “I’m quite disheartened by how little I’ve been able to feel her move…especially if I can feel her and Tommy can’t feel him touching my stomach.”
Molly-Mae looked every inch at the doing mother as she wrote, “Hello little girl. The nose and mouth” alongside a video of her scan.
The influencer wrote at the time: “I’m pretty disheartened by how little I’ve been able to feel her move… especially when I can feel her and Tommy can’t feel him touching my stomach.
“So it’s really reassuring to know that it’s because my placenta is literally a huge sponge between me and the baby absorbing all of her movements and preventing me from actually feeling it.”
“Think it’ll be a while before we see her little legs kick through or Tommy feels her, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.”
