Arsenal’s longest-serving player has confirmed he will leave the club in the summer after his contract expires.
Mikel Arteta’s side have once again taken the title race to the final day as they prepare to host Everton on Sunday.
However, a win against the Toffees will not be enough on its own and Arsenal will be hoping that West Ham can upset Manchester City on the final day and set up a dramatic climax to what has been a thrilling campaign.
For one player, however, Sunday’s match will mark his final match after spending more than eight years in north London.
Mohamed Elneny paid tribute to the club’s supporters ahead of his departure.

The 31-year-old said in a social media post that the club’s fans will ‘forever be in my heart’
“Gooners, I’m here today to send you a message, to say goodbye and to thank you for all you have done for me.” The 31 year old said in a post shared on his X account.
‘The love, the support and the kindness. I will really miss you and you will remain in my heart forever.
‘I wanted to say how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I will never forget how you supported me.
“I’ll see you in the Emirates on Sunday to say goodbye in person, see you then.”
Elneny arrived at the Emirates in the January 2016 transfer window, during Arsene Wenger’s reign at the club, having joined from Swiss side Basel.

The Egypt international has spent much of his time at the club on the fringes of the starting XI, but nevertheless has more than 150 appearances in all competitions to his name.
Elneny has made three Premier League appearances this season, all from the bench, but has not been part of a matchday squad since the club’s 4-1 win over Newcastle in February.
