A 12-year-old boy from St. Louis, Missouri, has died three months after a car crash with an illegal migrant that seriously injured his family.
The car Travis Wolfe was driving was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by a female Venezuelan migrant who was in the country illegally.
Endrina Bracho was driving the wrong way down the road, twice the speed limit, with her own two children in the back of her minivan.
The impact of the crash was so great that Travis was placed on a ventilator at St. Louis Children’s Hospital with a brain injury from which he did not recover. He died last Wednesday.
Dusty Wildman, Travis’ brother-in-law, said. ‘He hit his head on the window and possibly the roof. So he had damage to his brain stem and also to his brain.’
